Bob and Chris were absolutely amazing! They are very flexible and quick to respond to emails. The pictures they take... are stunning and capture the most intimate details. They are very personable. Bob photographed my daughter’s wedding over 17 years ago. He was amazing then and still offers the same outstanding... work as he always has !! I never hesitated to have him take a formal portrait of my granddaughter in a family heirloom dress. As I expected, the final product was beautiful!! Bob Ocken is an amazing photographer. Within the first few minutes in to our conversation, I knew he would be my choice... for our family portrait. He did not disappoint. He spent time understanding what we had in mind, gently made suggestions he felt would help us achieve our goal for the session. On the day of the photo-shoot, he was very patient, took his time and did not rush us. The final result exceeded our expectations. Bob was great. We had to reschedule because of threat of rain but it worked out because we had a nice day when we... actually had our photos taken. Bob was willing to work with me and my ideas. We were taking some family photos and my sons 1 year old pics. He was patient, even when my son was starting to get fussy. He tried his best to get my son to smile, did fairly well, but a 1 year old is unpredictable. My only suggestion for the future is if you have a baby or toddler in your pics, bring someone to help make them smile so Bob can focus on taking the pics. Othereise, pics turned out great. Would recommend!read more

It's extremely likely that I'm one of the more particular/needy clients Bob has worked with. We initially had our... family photos scheduled for a Saturday evening, but there was rain in the forecast, and Bob was 100% accommodating with our preference to reschedule to the following morning. He met us at the location and I was instantaneously comfortable with him - he's personable and down to earth while still entirely professional. I didn't feel silly or awkward, which is something I typically struggle with when I know I'm on camera! Our photos included a 10 year-old, and Bob was equally successful in making him completely comfortable. Following our session, Bob got the photos to me via email within hours (like, within three hours from the time we left). I was able to look through the gallery and pick our favorite photos, and from there, Bob met every retouching request I made. I literally made THREE different "favorites" albums when attempting to narrow down the ones we liked best. Bob was patient, communicative, and informative throughout that process, as I didn't know exactly what I needed to do, how many photos to choose, what type of retouching requests were applicable, etc. When I finally created the third and final album for him to work from, it was only a matter of hours before he had the final products returned to me! We will continue going to Bob for all of our future photo sessions - I couldn't be happier!read more

Bob did my daughter’s senior portraits and they were great. She tends to be nervous and challenging to get... comfortable for the camera, but he was able to capture some great shots of her true personality. We used a nature setting and he took tons of pictures and let her change outfits. Will treasure these memories.read more

Bob was exceptional during our engagement photo shoot, and he made it incredibly fun. There was a 90% chance of rain... and he still captured us at our best! Of the photos he took of us during the span of about an hour, there were over 45 photos that are frame-worthy, AND he got them edited and posted online in less than 24 hours. We could NOT be happier with our choice for this engagement photographer, AND he provides the service at an incredibly reasonable cost.
